Linda Züblin

Linda Züblin (born March 21, 1986 ) is a Swiss heptathlete who also belongs to the Swiss elite in javelin throw , 100-meter hurdles and long jump .

Life

She starts for the LAR Bischofszell and holds the Swiss junior and U23 records in the heptathlon and the Swiss record in the javelin. In 2008 she was accepted into the World Class Potentials project sponsored by the Swiss Athletics Association and named Swiss Athlete of the Year .

Züblin took part in two world championships , the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the 2010 European championships in Barcelona . With a best performance of 6018 points, she is one of five Swiss heptathletes who have achieved more than 6000 points.

After two years in which Züblin was thrown back from injuries, she was able to qualify for the 2013 World Championships in Moscow .

Although Züblin has not yet celebrated any major international successes, she is one of the best-known athletes in Switzerland due to her open nature and the numerous media appearances associated with it. In 2009 she started at the Super10Kampf .

In 2009, the trained business woman moved from Eastern Switzerland to Bern , where she is trained by the Swiss all- around trainer Adrian Rothenbühler . Linda Züblin's siblings Andreas and Sarah are also successful athletes.
