Lisa Eichhorn
Lisa Eichhorn (born February 4, 1952 in Glens Falls , New York ) is an American actress .
biography
Lisa Eichhorn was born in 1952 in New York State (according to other sources in Reading , Pennsylvania ) as the daughter of an advertising professional. The American attended Queen's College in Canada and studied literature in Oxford . Eichhorn later took acting classes at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art .
Eichhorn also made her debut in Great Britain in 1979 in a BBC television theater production. That same year, she played under the direction of James Ivory on the side of Lee Remick in the romantic drama The Europeans and directed by John Schlesinger one of the female leads in the war drama Yanks - Yesterday we were strangers at the side of Richard Gere . This was followed in 1980 was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Europeans and two Golden Globe nominations for Yanks . The two costume dramas earned her a reputation as one of the most promising young actresses of her time. Eichhorn was unable to build on the success of her first two film roles in the decades that followed, despite appearances in over 50 film and television productions to date.
In 2007 she co-wrote the screenplay for the major Latvian production The Last Front - Defenders of Riga , which themed the Latvian struggle for independence (1918–1920) and which she co-produced. The film was the first official Latvian entry at the 2009 Academy Awards .
Lisa Eichhorn still lives in England today. She is third married to lawyer Bill Moxon, who specializes in film law, and is the mother of a daughter by second marriage.
