The citizenship of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund grants citizens of the city whose services it considers particularly valuable, an honorary citizenship , which is connected with an entry in the city's book of honor.

    Otto Nautsch was a shipbuilder at the Stralsund people's shipyard in Stralsund . With his brigade he formed the first complex brigade of the shipyard on Strelasund in 1953 . “For the socialist construction in the city and the people's shipyard” he was granted honorary citizenship.
