The chapel was consecrated in 1950. Numerous Bielefeld personalities were buried in the cemetery. Accordingly, there are many grave monuments and decorated frames there. The graves of the Bozi , Oetker and Georg Ernst Hinzpeter families are representative. An arboretum belongs to the cemetery . Due to its location between the botanical garden , the zoo and the city center, the Johannisfriedhof is also a busy green area. | |
