The chapel was consecrated in 1950. Numerous Bielefeld personalities were buried in the cemetery. Accordingly, there are many grave monuments and decorated frames there. The graves of the Bozi , Oetker and Georg Ernst Hinzpeter families are representative. An arboretum belongs to the cemetery .
