This list of commemorative plaques and memorial stones in Vienna / Wieden contains the commemorative plaques in the public space of the 5th Viennese district Margareten . The main basis of this list is "Wien Kulturgut" (the digital cultural city map of the City of Vienna ).

Sister Maria Restituta was born
on May 1, 1894 as Helene Kafka
in Husowitz near Brno.
She entered the
Congregation of the Sisters
of III. Order
of St. Francis, called
"Of Christian Love"
and
trained in nursing at the Lainz Hospital .
From 1919 she worked as a
surgical nurse in
the Mödling hospital.
Her fearless advocacy of
faith and human dignity
soon brought her into conflict with the
National Socialist dictatorship.
Denounced by an SS doctor,
she was sentenced
to death in 1942 for "preparation for high treason"
and
beheaded on March 30, 1943 in the Vienna Regional Court.

Friederike Seidl was born
on January 22nd, 1936 in
Margareten, Vienna .

clerk.

youth.

Seidl became chairwoman of the
social democratic
women in her home
district of Margareten
and later for all of
Vienna.
As state parliament
designated and municipal
councilor of the city of Vienna from
1969 to 1983 as
office leading city
councilor for personnel
affairs
and consumer
protection has Friederike
Seidl a promotion of women
Food Program for
the community service
worked out that the
promotion prospects of
significantly comparable women
improved and the
Council of Europe was
named as exemplary
.
Friederike Seidl died
on November 14, 1987 in Vienna.

During his term of office as District
Chief of Margareten, the
