The list, which is complete as far as we know today, focuses on the equestrian statues in honor of Emperor Wilhelm I , some of which were decorated with extensive pedestal decorations and framed with monumental architecture. Reconstruction work due to alleged damage to the substance. The monument was changed in favor of a design based on Nazi architecture, which followed a model by the sculptor Friedrich Bagdons ; see also here

Anonymous 1888 "Latest Communications" VII. Volume, No. 78, Friday, August 17, 1888: The commanding general of the 15th Army Corps, General of the Cavalry von Heuduck, announced on the 15th of December. Mts. celebrated 50 years of service in Strasbourg. His Majesty the Emperor awarded him the Grand Cross of the Red Eagle Order, and the officers and senior officials of the Army Corps presented him with a splendid gift of honor, an equestrian statuette of Emperor Wilhelm I on richly furnished ground.
