List of cultural assets in Aarburg

The list of cultural goods in Aarburg contains all objects in the municipality of Aarburg in the canton of Aargau that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018).

Mighty fortress 400 meters long on a towering rock spur. Emerging from a hilltop castle of the 13th century, expanded into a fortress from 1659 to 1673. Today used as an educational institution.

Classicist four-storey town hall built in 1828 , replaced a previous building from the 15th century. Stately plastered wall construction with seven axes and a hip roof . In front of it is a wide double staircase made of ashlar stones.
