List of cultural assets in Altdorf UR
The list of cultural assets in Altdorf contains all objects in the municipality of Altdorf in the canton of Uri that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .
Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018).

Foreign hospital with chapel KGS no .: 5775 |

Built in 1437 as a hospital for travelers, destroyed in the village fire of 1799 and rebuilt on the old walls in 1803. Two-winged complex with stepped gables, which, together with the chapel, surrounds an inner courtyard. Today used by the local government.

Manor house built in 1550, served as a model for later Uri buildings of this type. The built-in buffet from 1556 is the oldest and artistically most important in central Switzerland. One of the few buildings that survived the village fire of 1799 served as quarters for the Russian general Suvorov that same year .

First mentioned in a document in 1223, the current building was built between 1602 and 1606 according to plans by the master builder Roccho Ruggia and is the first early baroque church in German-speaking Switzerland. The original interior was destroyed in the village fire in 1799 (replaced by classicist furnishings).

Octagonal fountain from 1568 in front of the town hall. First stone well in the village. The fountain figure, donated by village governor Johann Heinrich Emanuel Bessler von Wattingen in the second half of the 17th century, represents a standard bearer.
