List of cultural assets in Oberhofen am Thunersee

The list of cultural assets in Oberhofen am Thunersee contains all objects in the municipality of Oberhofen am Thunersee in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of October 29, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict .

Objects in category A and B are fully included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The palace complex is surrounded by a keep high hipped roof dominates the built in 1200 and 14-15. Century was increased. It is surrounded on three sides by residential buildings ( palas ). The palace chapel in the south-west corner dates from around 1400. From 1849 to 1852, James Colin redesigned the palace in the neo-Gothic style , and in 1869/70 the south wing was expanded according to plans by Friedrich Hopf. The striking water tower with bridge is a reconstruction from 1895/96.

The core of the wine-growing house dates back to 1518, largely influenced by the renovation of 1740, today used as a museum for clocks and mechanical musical instruments. Three-storey, stately plastered building with a steep, bent half- hipped roof and sandstone corner pilasters . The same assembly group includes a barn from the first half of the 18th century and the servants' house from the same era, a massive plastered building with a slightly bent half-hipped roof.

Manorial wine-growing house built in 1626/27. The two-storey residential wing in the west is a half-timbered building with a brick ground floor base and a stair tower . At right angles to this, with a significantly higher ridge, stands the brick Trüelhaus, the easternmost part of which contains the late Gothic predecessor building. A sundial is attached to the southeast side of the stair tower .

Church building erected in 1727 on the ground plan of four previous buildings. The plastered baroque hall church under a hipped roof has a tower from the late Gothic period on its north side and a classical vestibule . Most of the furnishings date from the 16th and 17th centuries. Next door is the rectory from 1726, a stately plastered building under a heavily bent hipped roof with a simple facade structure.

The villa , which was built from 1886 to 1889 and is reminiscent of the French Renaissance style , is now the seat of the municipal administration. The outstanding brick building is richly structured by sandstone elements and has a complex floor plan, which is defined in the roof area by a large number of gables and turrets. The building is said to be a replica of the lost headquarters of the Counts Siméon in Saint-Gaultier ( Département Indre ).
