List of desolations in Braunschweig

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The consecration certificate of the Magni Church from 1031. It is also the oldest documentary evidence of the name "Brunesguik" (2nd line, center) , which became "Braunschweig" in the 16th century.

The list of deserted areas in Braunschweig is based on the compilation in the regional map for history and cultural studies - Braunschweig / Salzgitter from 2015 and mainly contains the deserted areas mapped and described in the urban area. The list does not contain other desolations , which result from the relevant field names Wüstemark , Wöhrden etc., but whose existence is otherwise not written down.

The annual dates of the first mention of 1007 refer to the Steterburg annals and 1031 to the dedication certificate of St. Magni .
