District town of Minden		Approved 1853: “The shield, split by gold and red, shows a gold-armored, red-tongued black double-headed eagle in front in gold under an imperial crown, behind in red two diagonally crossed silver keys with turned away beards above, the key with the beard pointing towards the middle of the shield the other key. "
City of Petershagen		Approved by RP Detmold on March 29, 1974: "In red over a silver (white) wave base, a silver (white) pillar bridge, over it two silver (white) diagonally crossed keys with beards turned away."
City of Porta Westfalica		Approved by the Detmold RP on November 12, 1973: “Divided into red and silver (white) by tin cut. Above three silver (white) tin towers, below a red eagle wing laid out in bars with a golden (yellow) clover stem . "
City of Preussisch Oldendorf		Approved by RP Detmold on September 28, 1976: "In silver (white) a red rafter, above two red six-pointed stars, below two red diagonally crossed keys."
City of Rahden		Approved by the RP Detmold on April 19, 1973: "Under a silver (white) shield head with 3 blue five-petalled roses in red, 2 crosswise silver (white) hooks with a handle."
Stemwede municipality		Approved by RP Detmold on February 6, 1975: "In blue over a golden (yellow) three-mountain, a golden (yellow) fallen sword, accompanied by two silver (white) lilies."

City of Luebbecke

The city of Lübbecke presented the following seven new coats of arms for the district on June 20, 2009. But which are not officially usable municipal coats of arms:

City of Minden

The coat of arms of the Dankersen district of Minden was only designed after the incorporation in 1973. The coat of arms of the Minden district of Bölhorst was officially presented on July 10, 1995.

• 

  Bölhorst district : In the shield head split by red and silver, in front a silver millstone, behind a red brick wall , underneath diagonally crossed black mallets and iron covered with a gold miner's lamp

• 

  District of Dankersen : Above a shortened and looped red tip with an upright silver oak leaf with two silver acorns on the leaf stalk, split by silver and green; in front a blue gable post , behind a rising billy goat with its head turned to the left.
