List of World Cup locations in inline alpine

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of world cup locations in inline alpine contains all the venues of world cup events in inline alpine since the first edition in the 2010 season . The World Cups are held in Europe and are organized from 2010 to 2014 by the World Inline Alpine Committee (WIAC), from 2015 by the Comité International de Roller Alpine and by the respective national federation. The inline alpine world championships were part of the world cup calendar in 2012 and 2014. So far (as of September 2019 of the 2019 season) World Cup races have been held at a total of 22 locations.

The World Cup venues are determined as follows: The host club submits its application to the international organization FIRS RAD (formerly: WIAC) via the national association. A homologation of the route is necessary for the host location and a check is carried out to determine whether the criteria for compliance with the regulations and safety are in place. The voting on the race calendar takes place in October and April every year in the FIRS RAD Technical Committee.

The spectators can sit along the entire route and watch the races. In the World Cup and the championships, the race is considered to be live streaming as the standard. In 2015 this was already successfully offered at the World Cup in Villablino, Spain, via www.rollersports.org.
