The Gothic parish church was built in the second half of the 13th century. A part of the church tower was later redesigned in Baroque style . Originally the church was probably surrounded by fortifications, but these have not been preserved. The high altar in 1778 was probably designed by Johann Baptist Fischer and Josef Gäminger, the pulpit probably by Johann Jacob Schoy .

The castle was built between 1761 and 1764 by Ferdinand Josef v. Thinnfeld built according to their own plans. The two-storey rectangular building is given a strong plasticity by the four corner pavilions with mansard roofs . It is surrounded by a park. The interior is designed in the Styrian Rococo .

The scythe hammer with the two workshops was built in 1819 and 1849 by the hammer master Johann Pachernegg. The hammers, which are still functional today, are powered by six water wheels. In 1984 the plant was closed, renovated and revitalized by the Sensenwerk Deutschfeistritz cultural association. Today it can be visited as a museum.

The rectory, in the core of the 16th century, was structurally changed and modernized several times. A tram ceiling (dated 1573) and a late Gothic image of St. Christophorus (around 1520) have been preserved.

The calvary south of the church was built in 1695. The baroque crucifixion group with Christ and the two wooden thieves, St. John and the two women made of stone, all figures larger than life, was created after 1714. Restored in 1969. At the crossroads three baroque station chapels with wrought iron bars.

The baroque Ölbergkapelle was built into the mountain slope in 1695 and has a spear cap barrel and above it a roof turret with an onion and a lantern. Inside there is a baroque Mount of Olives group, a tabernacle from the Rococo and a figurative group of crosses with angels from the construction period. The bell was cast by Florentin Streckfuß in 1696 .

The inlet canal of the Peggau-Deutschfeistritz power plant runs as a tunnel under the Kugelstein over a distance of 1073 meters . The tunnel with the two portals was built between 1906 and 1908. The northern tunnel portal is in Frohnleiten .

The castle emerged from a previous building, first mentioned in 1130, and was rebuilt in the Windsor style in 1863 . The former fortifications can still be seen today.

In 2003 a so-called villa rustica was excavated from the Roman settlement . This probably dates from the 2nd to 4th centuries and was part of a larger building complex. The excavation site has been covered since 2009.

The Schackhof is a two-story building and used to be a vacant nobleman’s seat. It has a crooked gable and on the gable wall there is a sgraffito cladding from around 1620.

The wooden waiting room was built using old carpenter technology when the Übelbacher Bahn went into operation in 1919. In August 2011, the waiting building was dismantled to make way for the increasingly heavy load of timber and transferred to the Stübing open-air museum .

The castle was probably built towards the end of the 11th century and was first mentioned in 1152. It was left to decay from the 16th century. Today the triangular are only keep the Palas and parts received the castle chapel.
