The parish church consecrated to St. Matthias was first mentioned in 1504. The simple nave , which is essentially Gothic , was renewed in 1746 and extended in 1796. The sacristy is added to the north. 1794, the tower was built, whose spire was changed 1957th The nave has a single nave , three axles and has a flat roof. The choir has a 5/8 end and a pilaster structure , and is covered with a ridge vault. The ceiling paintings are the Ascension of Christ in the choir and the Adoration of the Shepherds in the nave (both date from the late 18th century). The high altar, created around 1840, is equipped with sacrificial portals and swinging side parts. The middle altarpiece by Brandstätter shows Christ and Maria Magdalena in a romantic landscape with column ruins. The pulpit, crowned by a rococo figure of the Good Shepherd, dates from the 2nd quarter of the 18th century and was modified in 1777. In their parapet there are inlaid pieces depicting the four evangelists. A large-figured group of guardian angels comes from the first half of the 19th century.

The branch church of Our Lady was built in 1862 by Josef Erwin Ritter von Lippert as the first strictly historical sacred building in Carinthia. It is a neo-Gothic, hexagonal central building with a square front yoke. There are inclined buttresses on the exterior. The main facade is designed flat and provided with a steep gable wall (vertical struts). The internal structure is done through group windows. The interior is covered by a ribbed vault with round rod ribs. The altar from the construction period was built according to a design by Lippert. The parament box on the north wall dates from 1862 and is equipped with two late baroque carved figures from the 18th century in the side niches.
