The Romanesque nave of the church was built in the 13th century. The Gothic choir and the west tower, which is also Gothic and modified in the 19th century, date from the first half of the 14th century. In the middle of the 18th century there were baroque conversions and additions. Josef Kessler created the altarpiece on the neo-Gothic high altar in 1875 . The church is partly surrounded by an old cemetery wall.
