The original Gothic church from the 14th century fell into disrepair in the 15th century and was rebuilt and rebuilt in the baroque style in 1626 . The high altar from 1765 is by Anton Hardmuth, the altarpiece and the altarpiece in the northern chapel were painted by Johann Greippel.

The former moated castle has two large corner towers in the south. A castle was officially built in 1286 and rebuilt in 1421. After decay and destruction by the Swedes in the Thirty Years War , it was partially rebuilt in 1651. In 1717 the castle was redesigned and in 1820 its north wing was demolished.

The monastery was founded in 1624 by Bishop Leopold von Passau . After a fire, the foundation stone was laid for a new building in 1745. The four-wing, three-storey building has gable roofs, the south facade is designed with cordon cornices and corner bands as well as pilasters that frame the two outer axes. The entrance portal is framed by Ionic double pilasters and has a triangular gable with a tooth cut, crowned by vases; In the gable is the coat of arms of the Minorites . The east facade has a four-axis central projection, segmented arched windows with roofing on the second floor and pilaster strips on the third floor.

An older permanent house was transformed into a Renaissance moated castle between 1530 and 1550. The castle has been in ruins since a fire in 1893. The mighty complex over an irregular, polygonal floor plan with rounded corners is surrounded by a moat; access is via a bridge in the northeast. The outer wall cylinder with mighty sloping support pillars, whose crenellated crown is partially still preserved, surrounds a wide polygonal inner courtyard, which is surrounded by formerly two-storey arcades.

The late Romanesque fortified church has an early Gothic choir tower with a bell storey from the 16th century. Inside there are significant jagged frescoes from the late 13th century. The wall of the cemetery surrounding the church is partly early medieval .
