The parish was founded in 1055 as the original parish for the north-eastern Weinviertel . The church is essentially Romanesque . In the first half of the 13th century the north aisle was added and the nave was raised. In 1486 it was converted into a late Gothic staggered church and the south aisle was built . The side chapel, known as the Marien or Warndorfer chapel, dates from the last third of the 13th century, the tower from 1497. The parish church is furnished in baroque style . |
