The local chapel of Atzelsdorf is a small building from the 19th century, with a gable roof and an eastern tower . In the tower facade is a figure niche with a colored aggregate figure of St. Florian from around 1700. Outside on the north wall of the chapel there is a baroque cross, marked 1713.

The Holy Trinity column with the mercy seat figure group in Brünnerstraße is marked 1861. It was donated by Marina Anger. Originally the column was erected on the square in front of today's pharmacy , where the pillory had stood until 1858 .

The former post house , probably the oldest town house in Gaweinstal, was built after the invasion of Sweden in 1645 and rebuilt by postmaster Lettner in 1706. High hipped roof , volute gables and pine cones on the narrow sides . Profiled cordon cornice , upper floor with pilaster structure above a pilaster-framed gate. The baroque statues of Saints Florian and Nepomuk are integrated in the facade .

The former town hall is a late Biedermeier building in the first half of the 18th century. It has a gabled central risalit with a double eagle in the gable field and a balcony on a curved console with Tuscan columns above an arched portal . The building now serves as an inn and hotel .

The parish church of St. Georg in Gaweinstal is a high baroque hall church with a four-bay nave , spanned by a barrel vault with stitch caps , which is followed by a two-bay presbytery with a straight choir closure. A first church building was erected on this site before the beginning of the 13th century. The first reliable mention comes from the year 1444. The church was destroyed by the Swedish invasion in 1645, restored around 1650 and rebuilt in 1692 due to dilapidation . In 1702 a presbytery and the church tower were added. In 1704 the church burned down to the ground and was then rebuilt in its current form.

The previous building burned down on August 22nd, 1704 with the church. Under the abbot of the Schottenstift Carl Fetzer, the rectory was rebuilt from 1731 to 1744. The early to high baroque two-storey four-wing building encloses a rectangular courtyard. The three-storey south or main wing, with impressive rooms with rich stucco ceilings , borders on a former moat in the direction of Withalmstrasse.

The robber baron Gamareth Fronauer attacked Gaweinstal in 1460, there was a slaughter with many dead, but Fronauer was beaten back. This cross was erected in eternal memory of those who fell in this battle. Since it was set up near the old tavern mill, it was given the name "Schenkerkreuz".

The churchyard has a Holy Trinity column (mercy seat on a Tuscan column), labeled "Johann Wendler 1686", which originally stood opposite today's fire station. Behind it there is a war memorial for the fallen of the First and Second World War (original installation on the main square). Other outdoor sculptures around the church: statue of St. Benedict on volute base in the northern corner of the tower, marked 1715; as well as the classicistic tomb of the postmaster Elisabeth Dachler, around 1820, east of the church in the abandoned cemetery.

The baroque group of figures was donated by postmaster Johann Lettner in 1718 and built by master stonemason Oxner. The group consists of the hll. Mary Magdalene , Mary and John at the feet of the crucified Jesus Christ and is surrounded by a stone balustrade with a wire mesh.

The Klingerkapelle is a late baroque building. Instead of a crumbling wooden cross, a chapel with a statue of the scourged Jesus Christ was built in 1676. It is probably named after the builder Lorenz Klinger from Aigen-Gaunersdorf.

It is a late Gothic light house from the 15th / 16th centuries. It is made of natural stone, on the shaft of the pillar there are clearly visible stonemasons' marks. In 1982 it was erected on a secondary basis after being badly damaged by lightning and then restored. It has the nicknames Stoananes Mandl and Insect Cross (it was linked by the legend to a plague of locusts around 1680).

The parish church of St. Laurentius in Höbersbrunn is a baroque building from the years 1748–1754. Its three-bay nave is equipped with a one-bay, rounded presbytery and a facade tower. The west facade has a pilaster structure and a gable over cornice. In the middle there is a slightly protruding tower, marked 1750, with arched sound windows and an onion helmet .

In an elevated position on the western outskirts of Martinsdorf, surrounded by a cemetery, is the parish church of St. Martin . Its baroque nave dates from the 17th century, but has an older core. Romanesque windows in deep reveals have been preserved in the attic. A west tower is presented to the nave. The transept and choir date from 1864.

The former vicarage of Martinsdorf is to the west of the church. The two-storey building dates from the third quarter of the 19th century. Its plaster has a corner block. The uniaxial gabled central projection also shows a corner cuboid. The house is accessible through a rectangular portal, which has a stone frame with ears and wedge stone.

The mighty three-winged complex around a rectangular courtyard is located on a hill in the north of Pellendorf. Founded in 1319 by Simon von Pellendorf, owned by the Khevenhüller -Metsch family since 1753 . The older system was expanded in the 17th century; around the 18th century the south and west wings were redesigned; In 1915 the southeast corner projectile was added. The castle has a simple, early baroque facade from the 17th century.

The parish church of St. Margaretha in Schrick is a baroque hall with a retracted round apse built between 1688 and 1691 . The tower has a curved pyramid helmet in front of a volute gable facade. There are buttresses and arched windows on the nave; segmented arched window in the apse.
