The double Middle Neolithic circular moat, located southwest of Gnadendorf between Zaya and Gießbach, was discovered through aerial photographs in 1981. The diameter of the outer ring is approx. 74 meters, that of the inner one up to 55 meters. The remains of the settlement on the site belong to both the moat itself and a younger, possibly late antique settlement. |
