This burial ground consisting of approx. 60 tumuli is partly overgrown with bushes and the mostly flat hills with a diameter of approx. 6-16 meters and a height of 0.5 to 1.5 m are not recognizable as graves for the layman.

After the funeral of the deceased in a crouching position , a more or less vaulted stone building was built over it. Starting on the outside with a ring of large blocks, the hills are wedged towards the middle with smaller stones and filled and covered with loamy earth. The hills inside then consist of 2 to 4 compact layers of stones and earth. The content of the graves suggests that they belong to the Middle Bronze Age . Some graves fell victim to grave robbers, some of them probably a long time ago . For example, pieces that probably date from the Bronze Age were also found in Lauriacum .

In the dense forest there are about 100 barrows from the Middle Bronze Age . Just below the sward there are rings with a diameter of up to 8 m made of layered stone blocks. The areas within these rings are densely covered with stones and earth up to a height of approx. 75 cm. Under the hill, the buried person is in a crouching position together with any additions on a paving stone on the original, natural ground. Various bronze and clay objects were found among the additions . But there are also completely empty hills about the meaning of which there is no unanimous opinion.
