List of German ambassadors in Bhutan
Germany and Bhutan have no diplomatic relations, but they have had consular relations since the end of 2000. So there is currently no accredited ambassador . The German ambassador to India is also responsible for Bhutan.
In 1978, Bhutan contacted the Federal Republic of Germany, and the German ambassador's first official visit to New Delhi followed in February 1979.
