This is the list of the East Timorese ambassadors in Brazil . The embassy is located in SHIS Qi 11, conjunto 10, casa 09 Lago Sul, 71625-300, Brasília DF .

Brazil and East Timor are both members of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP). Brazil supported East Timor on its way to independence, for example with participation in UN missions such as INTERFET , UNTAET and UNMISET . In addition, Brazilian teachers teach Portuguese in East Timor , which was established as the official language in East Timor alongside Tetum in 2002 , but was hardly spoken by the population when independence was restored due to the long Indonesian occupation (1975-1999).

The embassy in Brasilia is the only diplomatic representation of East Timor in South America .
