The European Union and East Timor

This list is the permanent representatives of East Timor to the European Union (EU). Since 2008 the agency has been located at Avenue Tervueren 102, 1040 Etterbeck, Brussels , Belgium . From May 20, 2002 to 2008 she was in an office within the Permanent Mission of Portugal .

Zacarias da Costa (2006)

The European Union accompanied the former Portuguese colony on its way to independence from Indonesia . During the occupation, the Conselho Nacional de Resistência Timorense (CNRT), the East Timorese independence movement, had representatives at the European Union in Brussels.

The permanent representative of East Timor to the European Union is also East Timor's ambassador for several Central European countries, such as Belgium, Germany and Austria .
