Livry is a village and a former French commune with 743 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Calvados department in the Normandy region . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Aunay-sur-Odon (until 2015: canton of Caumont-l'Éventé ). The inhabitants are called Livernois .
With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Caumont-l'Éventé , Livry and La Vacquerie were merged into a Commune nouvelle called Caumont-sur-Aure and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Caumont-l'Éventé.

Livry is about 30 kilometers west-southwest of Caen on the Aure River , which has its source here.
