Loriana ( Asturian Lloriana ) is a place and a parish ( Parroquia ) in Asturias . It is located west of Oviedo on the Camino Primitivo .

In addition to Loriana, the Parroquia includes the towns of Fabarín, Lampajúa (Llampaxuga) , Lubrió (Llubrió) , Malpica, Peña Nora, Ponteo, Rebollar, Requejo (Requexu) , Rodiella and La Vega.

Place Loriana

Loriana has 25 houses with 42 inhabitants (2011) and is 175 m above sea level. The parish church is dedicated to St. Stefan (Iglesia San Esteban de Loriana). The construction is more recent, but the portal zone from a previous building still exists.

Loriana was first mentioned in a document in 905 when the village was donated by King Alfonso III. to the cathedral chapter of the Cathedral of San Salvador de Oviedo .

The place can be reached by buses of the United Asturian Transport Authority from Oviedo.
