Luís Filipe Marques Amado
Luís Filipe Marques Amado (born September 17, 1953 ) in Porto de Mós is a Portuguese politician . From July 3, 2006 to June 21, 2011 he was Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of Prime Minister José Sócrates led by the Socialist Party ( Partido Socialista ) . In the new government under Pedro Passos Coelho , he was replaced by Paulo Portas .
Life
After successfully completing a degree in economics at the Technical University of Lisbon , Luís Amado has an advisory role at the Portuguese National Defense Institute and is an honorary professor at Georgetown University . Luís Amado is married and has two sons.
