Ludwig Radlkofen
Ludwig Radlkofen (also Ludwig Visler Radlkofen ; † 1361 ) was Bishop of Chiemsee from 1360 to 1361 .
Life
Ludwig came from the Lower Bavarian family of the Radlkofen. His year and place of birth are not known. For the year 1339 he is documented as canon and from 1340 as city pastor of Salzburg .
After the death of the Chiemsee Bishop Hugo von Schärfenberg , Ludwig Radlkofen was appointed as his successor by the Salzburg Archbishop Ortolf von Weißeneck . On January 10, 1360, Pope Innocent VI cashed in . the episcopal appointment and gave him in turn the diocese of Chiemsee. After a short term in office, Bishop Hugo died in August 1361 at the latest.
