Ludwig Wühr

Ludwig Wühr (born April 6, 1907 in Großholzhausen ; † December 30, 1998 ) was a German actor .

Life

After secondary school he took acting lessons from court actor Eugen Gura in Munich . He made his debut in Bamberg at the ETA Hoffmann Theater . Then followed an engagement in Gera before he came to Munich in 1938.

There he worked as a freelance actor on various stages over the following decades. He was seen particularly often at the Munich Volkstheater , but also at the Bavarian State Theater . In 1965 he appeared in Marieluise Fleißer's The Strong Tribe on the Schaubühne on Halleschen Ufer in Berlin . At the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel he acted in Die Kreuzlschreiber in 1973 and in As You Like It in 1974 .

He also worked in films and especially in many television productions that took place in Bavarian surroundings. In the series The Millionaire Farmer, he embodied the pastor. Wühr was also represented as a radio play speaker in the 28-part series The Grandauers and their time , which ran from 1979 to 1985 .
