Ludwig von Staudy

Ludwig von Staudy (born September 27, 1834 in Unisław , Kulm district , † April 5, 1912 in Posen ) was a German administrative lawyer. He was police president, general landscape director, manorial estate owner and member of the Reichstag.

Life

Staudy attended grammar school in Züllichau . After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität . In 1853 he was reciprocated in the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . He was a district judge in Wagrowiec and Schneidemühl in the province of Posen . Later he was a public prosecutor's assistant in Sensburg , public prosecutor and district administrator in the Angerburg district . From 1869 to 1882 he worked in Poznan as a police director or police chief. As a Guard Landwehr Infantry Officer, he took part in the German War and the Franco-German War . He saw the battle of Königgrätz , the siege of Strasbourg and the siege of Paris . For the German Conservative Party , he represented the Reichstag constituency of Gumbinnen 5 in the Reichstag from 1877 to 1912 . He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives from 1898 to 1908. In 1882 he became General Landscape Director of the Province of Posen. He owned a manor in Zakrzewo , Bomst district . As a Real Privy Councilor with the title of excellence , he died at the age of 77.
