Luis Alfonso Abram Ugarelli (born February 27, 1996 in Lima ) is a Peruvian soccer player who is under contract with the Argentine first division club CA Vélez Sarsfield . The central defender has been a Peruvian international since May 2016 .

Sporting Cristal

Luis Abram, born in the Peruvian capital Lima , comes from the youth department of Sporting Cristal and was promoted to the first team in the 2014 game year. He made his debut in the top Peruvian league on May 18, 2014 (14th matchday of Verano) in a 2-1 home defeat against CD San ​​Simón and he scored the only goal for Sporting Cristal in this game. At the end of the Clausura 2014 he established himself as a regular player in central defense at the age of 18 . Luis Abram took part with the Peruvian U17 national team at the U17 South American Championship 2013 in Argentina, where he played all nine games of the selection. Two years later he played eight games with the Peru U20 at the 2015 U20 South American Championship in Uruguay .

On May 24, 2016, he made his debut in a 4-0 friendly win against Trinidad and Tobago for the A selection when he came on in the 69th minute for Alberto Rodríguez . He was then nominated by head coach Ricardo Gareca in the squad for the Copa América Centenario 2016 in the United States , where he was not included in any game. He was then not used in a single international match for almost two years and was only considered again in September 2018.
