Luis Gabriel Ramírez Díaz
Luis Gabriel Ramírez Díaz (born November 14, 1965 in Puerto Margarita , Tarija Department , Colombia ) is a Colombian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of El Banco .
Life
Luis Gabriel Ramírez Díaz received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Santa Marta on June 12, 1993 through Pope John Paul II . On January 17, 2006 he was incardinated in the clergy of the Diocese of El Banco . On April 24, 2013, Luis Gabriel Ramírez Díaz became Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of El Banco.
On June 18, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of El Banco. The Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia, Archbishop Ettore Balestrero , donated him episcopal ordination on August 23 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Santa Marta, Ugo Eugenio Puccini Banfi , and the archbishop of Barranquilla , Jairo Jaramillo Monsalve .
