Luise Rehling , née Dieckerhoff , (born November 30, 1896 in Bochum ; † May 29, 1964 in Hagen ) was a German CDU politician .

She grew up in a parish household, after graduating from the Lyceum she worked as a teacher for two years. In 1919 she began studying history , geography and English studies and completed her studies with a doctorate in medicine. phil. from. In Martin Niemöller's house , she met pastor Kurt Rehling, whom she married in 1925. From 1928 she worked at his side in the Bahnhofsviertel in Hagen, the later Luther parish, and her three daughters were born in the rectory on Hindenburgstrasse. Because of their membership in the Confessing Church , the couple had many conflicts with the National Socialists. When Kurt Rehling was drafted in 1939, Luise Rehling kept the church going.

In 1945 the Rehling couple were among the founders of the CDU in Hagen, and Luise Rehling became a city councilor in 1946. She was a member of the German Bundestag from 1949 until her death. In 1949, 1953 and 1957 she won the direct mandate in the constituency of Hagen , and in 1961 she entered parliament via the CDU state list of North Rhine-Westphalia. From April 14, 1964 until her death, she was deputy chairman of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group. From 1950 to 1964 Rehling was a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe .

In 1966 a street in Cologne-Neubrück was named after Luise Rehling.

The city of Hagen named a secondary school after Luise Rehling, not least because, as a member of the municipal school committee, she was very committed to building up the school landscape in Hagen. In 2005, the CDU district association in Hagen named its new district office in "Luise-Rehling-Haus". Luise Rehling is buried in the Remberg cemetery in Hagen.
