Lukas Hillebrand (born November 22, 1979 in Vienna ) is an Austrian singer, guitarist, music producer and songwriter.

life and career

After graduating from high school and winning the Pop-Odrom band competition , he founded the pop duo Heat in 2001 with his school friend at the time, Florian Cojocaru .

In 2002 he released the single Only You .

Wrote in 2003, he produced together with Florian Cojocaru album Get ur radio done by Vera , and play as a guitarist on tour.

The single Anders reached number 9 and was represented in the Austria Top 40 charts for 15 weeks.

The song Lil 'and addict reached number 22 and was in the Austria Top 40 Charts for 5 weeks.

From 2004 to 2011 he was singer and guitarist for the band Tyler .

In 2012 he founded the Gridmusic label with music manager Romy Reis .

With the song Feels like home by the singer Yela , written and produced by him and Alex Pohn , he reached 2nd place in the national preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest Austria rocks the Song Contest (2013) .

He has been playing guitar in Julian le Play's band since 2012 . Together with co-producer and drummer Alex Pohn , he produced the two albums Soweit Sonar and Melodrom by Julian Le Play.

In 2013 he won the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the Best Engineered Album category for Soweit Sonar by Julian le Play together with Alex Pohn , Georg Tomandl and Mischa Janisch. Two years later he was honored as a co-author of Leya ( Thorsteinn Einarsson ) in the songwriter category.

In 2014 he wrote the two singles Aurora and Leya together with Florian Cojocaru , Noa Ben-Gur and Thorsteinn Einarsson .

In 2014, Julian le Play's Melodrom achieved gold status in Austria. The single Mein Anker was represented a total of 31 weeks with the highest position 6 in the Austrian charts. The song Mr Spielberg totaled 17 weeks with the highest placement 29.

In addition to his work as a producer, he is a singer and guitarist on numerous on-air radio jingles and signations for Ö3, Radio Wien, NDR1, Die neue Welle, Radio Regenbogen, Radio RSH and Landeswelle as well as in various Austrian TV advertising campaigns for Milford, XXXLutz To hear composite.
