Lutzketal

Lutzketal was a short-lived municipality in the office of Schenkendöbern ( Spree-Neisse district , Brandenburg ) that existed from 1998 to 2003 . It was an amalgamation of the six originally independent communities Grano , Groß Drewitz , Krayne , Lauschütz , Schenkendöbern and Sembten . In 2003 it merged with three other municipalities to form the municipality of Schenkendöbern , and the office of Schenkendöbern was dissolved. At the end of 2002 Lutzketal had 1744 inhabitants.

Geographical location

Lutzketal was in the northeastern part of the municipality of Schenkendöbern. It bordered in the north on the communities Henzendorf , Göhlen , Bomsdorf and Steinsdorf (all Amt Neuzelle ), in the east and south-east on the city Guben, in the south on Atterwasch , in the southwest on Bärenklau and in the west on the community Pinnow-Heideland (all Amt Schenkendöbern).

In 1992, Grano, Groß Drewitz, Krayne, Lauschütz, Schenkendöbern and Sembten joined forces with Atterwasch , Grabko , Bärenklau , Lübbinchen , Pinnow , Reicherskreuz , Staakow , Groß Gastrose and Kerkwitz to form the Schenkendöbern office. The date on which the office was established was October 1, 1992. At that time all communities still belonged to the Guben district .

On December 31, 1998, the amalgamation of the municipalities of Grano, Groß Drewitz, Krayne, Lauschütz, Schenkendöbern and Sembten to form the new municipality of Lutzketal became legally effective. At that time, the new community still had 1901 inhabitants.

On July 18, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the merger of the municipalities of Atterwasch, Bärenklau, Grabko, Lutzketal and Pinnow-Heideland to form the new municipality of Schenkendöbern, which only became legally effective on October 26, 2003. Also on October 26, 2003, the municipality of Gastrose-Kerkwitz was incorporated into the newly formed municipality of Schenkendöbern by law. The office of Schenkendöbern was dissolved, and the community of Schenkendöbern was vacant. Grano, Groß Drewitz, Krayne, Lauschütz, Schenkendöbern and Sembten are now districts of Schenkendöbern.
