The Neuzelle office is an office established in 1992 in the Oder-Spree district of the state of Brandenburg , in which originally 17 communities in the former Eisenhüttenstadt-Land and Beeskow districts were combined to form an administrative association. The office administration is based in Neuzelle . As a result of incorporations and congregational mergers, the number of officially affiliated congregations has been reduced to three.

Geographical location

The Neuzelle office is located in the southeast of the Oder-Spree district. It borders in the west on the city of Friedland (Niederlausitz) , in the north on the city of Eisenhüttenstadt and the office of Schlaubetal , in the east on the Republic of Poland and in the south on the district of Spree-Neisse .

Municipalities and districts

The Neuzelle office comprises three communities:

On June 17, 1992, the Minister of the Interior gave his consent to the formation of the Neuzelle office with its seat in Neuzelle. June 23, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. At the time of its establishment, the office comprised the following communities in what was then the Eisenhüttenstadt-Land district :

On November 23, 2001, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg approved the merger of the municipalities of Breslack, Coschen, Ratzdorf and Wellmitz to form the new municipality of Neißemünde. On November 27, 2001, the amalgamation of the communities Bahro, Bomsdorf, Göhlen, Henzendorf, Kobbeln, Möbiskruge, Neuzelle, Schwerzko, Steinsdorf, Streichwitz and Treppeln to form the new community Neuzelle was approved. Both mergers took effect on December 31, 2001. On October 26, 2003, Ossendorf was finally incorporated into the Neuzelle community.
