The Schlaubetal office is an office in the Oder-Spree district of the state of Brandenburg that was formed in 1992. Originally twelve municipalities in the former Eisenhüttenstadt-Land and Beeskow districts were combined to form an administrative association. The seat of the official administration is the city of Müllrose . As a result of community mergers, the number of officially affiliated communities has been reduced to six.

Geographical location

The office is located in the southeast of the Oder-Spree district and borders the municipality of Rietz-Neuendorf in the west, the city of Frankfurt (Oder) in the north, the Brieskow-Finkenheerd office in the east and the Neuzelle office in the south .

Official building

On June 17, 1992, the Minister of the Interior gave his consent to the formation of the Schlaubetal Office, based in the city of Müllrose. June 23, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. At the time of its founding, the office comprised the following communities in the then Eisenhüttenstadt-Land and Beeskow districts :

  5. Merz
  6. Mixdorf
  7. Pohlitz
  8. Ragow
  9. Rießen
  10. Schernsdorf
  11. Grunow
  12. City trash rose

On June 1, 2002, Ragow and Merz merged to form the new municipality of Ragow-Merz. On April 24, 2002, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg approved the merger of the communities of Bremsdorf, Fünfeichen and Kieselwitz to form the new community of Schlaubetal. The merger did not take effect until October 26, 2003. On June 17, 2002, the merger of the communities of Pohlitz, Rießen and Schernsdorf to form the new community of Siehdichum was approved. This merger also took effect on October 26, 2003. As part of the community reform, the communities Dammendorf and Grunow were merged on October 26, 2003 to form the new community Grunow-Dammendorf . This reduced the number of municipalities belonging to the office to six.

Vogel was on 10 January 2017 the Office Committee elected for a term of eight years. He took office on April 1, 2017. Due to the criminal misconduct, he announced his resignation at the beginning of 2020. The Office Committee elected Mario Quast as the new Office Director on May 19, 2020.

Name sponsorships

The Schlaubetal office is the namesake for a Stadler Regio-Shuttle RS1 of the East German Railway .
