The Spreenhagen office is an office established in 1992 in the Oder-Spree district of the state of Brandenburg , in which originally seven communities in the then Fürstenwalde district had merged to form an administrative association. The seat of the official administration is the municipality of Spreenhagen . As a result of integrations and community mergers, the number of municipalities belonging to the office has been reduced to three municipalities.

Geographical location

The Spreenhagen office is located in the west of the Oder-Spree district and borders in the west on the unofficial city of Königs Wusterhausen ( Dahme-Spreewald district ) and the Treptow-Köpenick district ( Berlin ), in the north with the unofficial city of Erkner and the unofficial community of Grünheide (Mark) , in the east to the unofficial city of Fürstenwalde / Spree and in the south to the office Scharmützelsee , the unofficial city of Storkow (Mark) and the unofficial municipality of Heidesee (district of Dahme-Spreewald).

Municipalities and districts

The Spreenhagen office administers three municipalities:

history

The Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the creation of the Spreenhagen Office on July 20, 1992. July 31, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office is based in the municipality of Spreenhagen and initially consisted of seven municipalities in what was then the Fürstenwalde district :

  1. Braunsdorf
  2. Gosen
  3. Hartmannsdorf
  4. Markgrafpieske
  5. New Zittau
  6. Rough
  7. Spreenhagen

On December 31, 2001 Braunsdorf was incorporated into the Spreenhagen community. On July 31, 2002, the communities Hartmannsdorf and Spreenhagen formed the new community Spreenhagen. On October 26, 2003, the municipality of Markgrafpieske was incorporated into the municipality of Spreenhagen by law, and the municipalities of Gosen and Neu Zittau formed the new municipality of Gosen-Neu Zittau. The Spreenhagen office thus consisted of only three communities.
