Lynzee Klingman

Lynzee Klingman (born December 31, 1943 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American film editor .

Life

After growing up in New York City and Paris , Lynzee Klingman began studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated from Columbia University with a degree in American history . She then worked in documentary films for a few years before she was hired by Miloš Forman for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest . This achievement brought her, together with Sheldon Kahn, an Oscar nomination for the best cut in 1976, as well as a BAFTA Award . It was her first and so far last nomination for a major film award. She only worked with Forman again in 1999 for Der Mondmann .

Klingman is married to director Richard Pearce and lives in Los Angeles . They both have two children, one of whom is makeup artist Remy Pearce, who has worked on series such as 30 Rock and Julie & Julia .

Lynzee Klingman is a member of the American Cinema Editors .
