Lysabild ( German  "Lysabbel" ; Sønderjysk or Alsisk : Lysafild ) is a Danish town on the island of Alsen with 530 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). It belongs to the municipality of Sønderborg in the Syddanmark region .

The village lies two kilometers north of Skovby eight kilometers east of Høruphav and 14 km east of Sønderborg (dt. Sonderburgstraße ).

In the church of Lysabild is a Schalenstein walled bowl 108 ( Danish Æbleskivestenen or Skåltegn ). It is one of 150 stones that are registered in Sundewitt and Alsen .

history

The village is located in the parish Lysabild Sogn . It belonged to Harde Als Sønder Herred in Sønderborg Amt until 1970 . In 1970 the parish was included in the municipality of Sydals , the municipality in turn merged with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 in the municipality of Sønderborg.
