The Münchner Zwietracht is a German music group of folk music , hits , but also rock / pop music .
history
The Munich music group was founded in 1991 by Wolfgang Köbele and Heinz Fuhrmann. In 1992, after several TV appearances, the band went on a 64-day European tour with Karl Moik , Maria Hellwig , Patrick Lindner and other artists. In 1994 the band flew together with 40 parachutists to Fortaleza in Brazil to the BOOGIE DO BRASIL. Several open air concerts were given there. At the beginning of 1997 the second tour followed with Karl Moik, Franzl Lang and Al Martino and other artists through Germany. 1998 was the third tour through Germany with Peter and Gerda Steiner , Oswald Sattler , Angela Wiedl , Lolita and Rex Gildo . In 2000 there was a collaboration with Rudolph Moshammer and the production of the title Mooshamma . The single came into the TOP 100 of the single charts. In 2001 it took part in the German preliminary round of the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson with the title Teilt Freud und Leid . This appearance, as well as two previous appearances at the Grand Prix of Folk Music and the Grand Prix of Good Mood, brought the band an entry in the Guinness Book of Records with three Grand Prix appearances in nine months.
From 1995 to 2013 the music group performed in the Hippodrom , the oldest marquee of the Munich Oktoberfest ; since 2014 in the successor tent Marstall .
The band includes the founding members Wolfgang Köbele ( bass ) and Heinzi Fuhrmann ( trumpet ) as well as Gerry Grass (lead vocals , guitar and trumpet), Andreas "Anderl" Häckel ( keyboard and accordion ), Mark Fugmann ( drums ) and Robert "Hasi" Haslinger (guitar).
In 2003, the Munich Hofbräuzelt, broadcast by ZDF, hosted the "A song for the Oktoberfest" competition, which the band won with the title "Let's go to the Oktoberfest".
In 2007 the Oktoberfest band celebrated its 15th anniversary and combined this with the 150th anniversary of the Weißwurst and released the single Weißwurst I love you . In 2008 there was a cooperation with the composer Ralph Siegel and the release of the single I mag München on the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the city of Munich . In 2010 the band released their eighth album, titled Today we celebrate . In 2012 the live CD 20 Years of Munich Discord was released . In 2016 the studio album Mittendrin Here was released with thirteen new titles, for the first time in collaboration with the record company Tyrolis Music .
