Mącznik (Siemyśl)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mącznik (German Old Mill ) is a residential area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to the Gmina Siemyśl (Simötzel community) in the Kołobrzeski powiat (Kolberg district) .

The place of residence is in Western Pomerania , about 13 kilometers south of Kołobrzeg ( Kolberg ) and about 90 kilometers northeast of Szczecin .

The living space emerged from the water mill in the village of Nessin , which was north of the village on the Spiebach . Presumably, the mention of a "molenfließ", i.e. a mill flow , in a document from 1294 refers to this mill. In Ludwig Wilhelm Brüggemann's detailed description of the current state of the Royal Prussian Duchy of Western and Western Pomerania (1784), Nessin lists “1 watermill, which is about 300 paces from the village next to the so-called sand pitcher”. In 1816 there were 16 residents in the Alte Mühle and Sandkrug.

In the second half of the 19th century, the water mill was shut down because the necessary mill jam was lifted as part of the regulation of the Spiebach .

Alte Mühle formed part of the municipality of Nessin until 1945 and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Pomeranian province . Alte Mühle was entered as the place name in the table sheet, but was no longer officially listed as a separate living space.

In 1945 Alte Mühle came to Poland, like all of Western Pomerania. It received the Polish place name "Mącznik".
