The 1905 MLB season was the fourth season of the modern era of Major League Baseball (MLB) and the second season of the modern World Series , in which the winners of the American League (AL) and National League (NL) meet has been.

The New York Giants won the title in the National League for the second time in a row and were able to win in the World Series 1905 against the title holder of the American League, the Philadelphia Athletics . For the Athletics it was the second success in the American League after 1902 .
