The 1907 MLB season was the sixth season of Major League Baseball (MLB).
For the second time in a row, the Chicago Cubs clearly won the National League (NL). In the American League (AL), the Detroit Tigers won just ahead of the Philadelphia Athletics . After the Cubs had lost the World Series in the previous year against city rivals White Sox , they prevailed in the 1907 World Series with 4-0 games against the Tigers and thus celebrated their first title win.
In the National League, the Boston Beaneaters appeared from 1907 under the new name Boston Doves .
