Drug smuggling

After Ghafoor initially disappeared without a trace following the Diamond League meeting in the Moroccan capital Rabat , she was stopped by German customs officers on June 18, 2019 while driving on the A3 near Emmerich . When her car was checked, 50 kilograms of crystal meth and ecstasy and over 12,000 euros in cash were found, and Ghafoor was arrested. On July 25, 2019, she was charged with drug possession in the Kleve District Court . As a result, she did not represent the Netherlands at the World Athletics Championships in Doha . In court, she said she did not know she was transporting drugs. You wanted to dope because of a lack of form and therefore got involved in the transport of doping substances.
