Magdalena Urszula Mroczkiewicz (born August 28, 1979 in Gdansk ) is a former Polish foil fencer .

successes

Magdalena Mroczkiewicz achieved all international successes in the team competition. She was world champion with the team in Havana in 2003 and in St. Petersburg in 2007 and also won two silver and two bronze medals at world championships between 1998 and 2004. In addition, she became European champion with her in Moscow in 2002 and in Bourges in 2003 . Mroczkiewicz took part in two Olympic Games : At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 , after victories over China and Germany, she moved into the final for the Olympic victory in the team competition , which was lost against Italy at 36:45. Together with Sylwia Gruchała , Barbara Wolnicka-Szewczyk and Anna Rybicka , she received the silver medal. She finished the singles in 14th place. In 2008 she finished 29th in the individual and seventh with the team in Beijing .
