Magnus Andersson (born April 27, 1981 ) is a Swedish football player . The midfielder was used in over 200 games in the Allsvenskan .
Career
Andersson started playing football at Hillerstorp Goif . He then moved to IFK Värnamo . There he fell on the people in charge of Svenska Fotbollförbundet and was used by Torbjörn Nilsson in his first game as coach of the Swedish U21 team in the 3-0 defeat of the Greek junior national team on February 13, 2002.
Through his national junior team, Andersson moved into the focus of higher-class teams and was signed by Halmstads BK , where the midfielder made his debut in 2002 in the Allsvenskan . He was able to play his way into the team straight away, but in the first few years of his professional career he was mainly used as a substitute. In the 2005 season he played his way into the club's starting line-up, but a cruciate ligament rupture in July of that year in the closing stages of the game against Malmö FF resulted in a longer injury break. After several knee operations, he was only able to return to the squad towards the end of the following season and only made two short appearances as a substitute.
For the 2007 season , Andersson joined the league rivals Trelleborgs FF . He established himself as a regular player over the course of the season and managed to keep the league with the club thanks to the better goal difference compared to bottom of the table IF Brommapojkarna . In his second season for the club he only missed one of the 30 games of the season and was the second best club-internal scorer behind striker Andreas Drugge with six goals this season . In the 2009 season he reached the side of Kristian Haynes , Dennis Melander and Joakim Sjöhage with the club in ninth place and was also in the following season as a regular player one of the guarantors of relegation in the Allsvenskan. In the 2011 season , with four goals this season behind Haynes, Marcus Pode and Fredrik Jensen, he was again one of the most dangerous players within the club, but being penultimate in the table it was not enough to stay in the top division.
Andersson also played for Trelleborgs FF in the second-rate Superettan . However, this season was also unsuccessful: Although he had four goals in 25 games at the end of the season, the club was relegated directly to the third-class Division 1 . Despite the relegation, he extended his contract for a year.
