Malte Semisch (born September 5, 1992 in Neustadt am Rübenberge ) is a German handball goalkeeper .

Career

Malte Semisch started with handball at the HSG Loccum-Stolzenau when he was five . From 2005 he played at MTV Großenheidorn , and from 2008 to 2010 he attended the handball boarding school of TV Großwallstadt . In 2010, Semisch moved to TSV Hannover-Burgdorf , where he played for another year in the A-Jugend, and from the 2011/12 season became the goalkeeper of the second team in the third division . In the same season he also made his debut in the first division team of the Hanoverians. From summer 2013 Semisch was under contract with TuS N-Lübbecke . In summer 2015 he returned to TSV Hannover-Burgdorf. In summer 2018 he switched to Füchsen Berlin . A year later he moved to league competitor GWD Minden .

Semisch was part of the German junior national team, for which he has played 34 international matches so far .
