In the 13th century, German colonists founded the village of Dörfle at the foot of the Kahle Mountain . It probably went out during the Hussite Wars in 1433 and the corridors of Dörfle were attached to the allodial rule of Bochdalitz. In 1727 the Bochdalitz Jesuits had a small chapel built in the desert of Dörfle, dedicated to St. Francis was consecrated. After the Jesuit order was abolished in 1773, Bochdalitz fell to the Imperial and Royal Study Fund. He sold the goods on March 31, 1783 for 111,000 Rhenish guilders to Raimund Wolfgang Edler von Manner. In 1785 he had the Mannersdorf settlement of 15 houses built on the site of the Dörfle desert . The new settlers were Germans from the Wischau language island . In 1834 175 people lived in the 36 houses of Mannersdorf. Mannersdorf always remained submissive to Bochdalitz until the middle of the 19th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial Mannersdorf formed from 1850 a district of the municipality Bohdalice in the district administration Wischau . Since the second half of the 19th century, the Czechs began to move into the villages of the language island. In 1890 the place was known as Mannerov and since the beginning of the 20th century as Manerov . At that time it was mostly inhabited by Czechs. In 1924 Manerov consisted of 42 houses. In 1948 Manerov was assigned to the new Okres Bučovice together with Bohdalice. After its abolition, the village came back to Okres Vyškov at the beginning of 1961 and became part of the new Bohdalice-Pavlovice municipality. Between 1976 and 1990 Manerov was part of the municipality Bohdalice-Kozlany, since its dissolution the village has belonged again to Bohdalice-Pavlovice . In 1991 there were 206 inhabitants in Manerov. In the 2001 census, Manerov had the same population and consisted of 69 houses. Manerov is parish after Bohdalice.
