Manor Solomon ( Hebrew מנור סולומון; * July 24, 1999 in Kfar Saba ) is an Israeli football player in the position of striker . He is currently under contract with Shakhtar Donetsk and plays for the national team of his home country .

Career

Manor Solomon started playing football at Maccabi Petach Tikwa Club from the Ligat ha'Al . There he went through the youth teams before making his debut in the professional team in 2016. He was a total of 68 league games for the club on the field and scored eight goals. He was also on the field for Petach Tikwa in the Israeli League Cup. After relegation in 2019 , he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in Premjer-Liha for a transfer fee of € 6 million . In addition to the championship and the cup, he and his team also take part in the Champions League . In Group C he scored in the second group game against Atalanta Bergamo in the fifth minute of stoppage time for a 2-1 winner.

National team

Since the U-16, Solomon has played through all of Israel's youth national teams. In 2018 he made his senior international debut in a 1-0 UEFA Nations League win against Albania.
