' Marc Nicolas Louis Pécheux (born January 28, 1769 in Bucilly ( Département Aisne ), † November 1, 1831 in Paris ) was a French Général de division .

Pécheux joined the 41st demi-brigade on August 17, 1792 as a volunteer in a grenadier battalion in the Aisne department and first served in the Northern Army under General Dumouriez , where he rose to the rank of chief de bataillon . Promoted to Général de division on May 30, 1813, he and his division strengthened Marshal Davout's troops in northern Germany from the beginning of August 1813 . On September 16, 1813, while advancing towards Magdeburg, he was defeated by a superior Allied corps under General Ludwig von Wallmoden-Gimborn in the Battle of the Göhrde . He was able to withdraw to Lüneburg with half of his division . Pécheux remained in Hamburg under Davout until the end of the war in 1814.

During the reign of the Hundred Days in 1815, Pécheux commanded the 12th Infantry Division of the IV Infantry Corps under General Gérard in the army of Marshal Grouchy and fought with his division at Ligny and Wavre . After Napoleon's defeat and another abdication, he returned to his hometown.
In 1818 he was given command of the 12th Military Division in Nantes . After working as an inspector of the infantry, he was put in disposition for a long time. It was not until 1823 that, through the intervention of the Minister of War, the Duke of Belluno , commemorating his experiences in Spain in 1810, he received a command during the invasion of Spain . Under the command of Marshal Lauriston , Pécheux took part in the capture of Pamplona . After this campaign, Pécheux finally withdrew to his estates.
